भारतीय रेलवे के लिए आज एक बहुत बड़ा दिन है. देश की पहली हाइड्रोजन ट्रेन आज जींद रेलवे स्टेशन से दिल्ली के लिए रवाना हो चुकी है. फिलहाल इसे दो डीजल इंजनों के साथ जोड़कर दिल्ली लाया जा रहा है, जहां से यह अपना सबसे अहम और फाइनल स्पीड ट्रायल पूरा करेगी. आज यह अत्याधुनिक हाइड्रोजन ट्रेन दिल्ली से सोनीपत वाले ट्रैक पर 120 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की शानदार रफ्तार से दौड़ेगी. इस हाई-स्पीड टेस्ट के लिए खास तौर पर बाहर से हाइड्रोजन गैस का टैंकर भी मंगवाया गया है.

दिल्ली से सोनीपत ट्रैक पर ट्रेन की अधिकतम स्पीड 120 किमी/घंटा तक रखकर परखी जाएगी. आपको बता दें कि इससे पहले इस ट्रेन का 75 और 85 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से सफल ट्रायल हो चुका है. 24 जून को ही रेलवे डिजाइन और मानक संगठन (RDSO) की टीम जींद पहुंच गई थी, जिसने ट्रेन की वायरिंग और प्लेटिंग के काम को बारीकी से पूरा किया है. आज के ट्रायल में खास तौर पर ट्रेन के ब्रेकिंग सिस्टम, इंजन की क्षमता, कंपन (Vibration) और हाई-स्पीड में ट्रैक पर स्थिरता (Stability) का बारीकी से आकलन किया जाएगा. यह भारत के लिए ग्रीन एनर्जी और प्रदूषण मुक्त सफर की दिशा में एक बहुत बड़ा और क्रांतिकारी कदम है.
