देश में ईंधन की खपत घटाने और विदेशी मुद्रा की बचत को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अपील के बाद दिल्ली सरकार ने कई बड़े और सख्त फैसले लागू करने का ऐलान किया है. मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बताया कि आने वाले 90 दिनों तक एक विशेष योजना के तहत सरकार और निजी क्षेत्र दोनों स्तरों पर व्यापक बदलाव किए जाएंगे.
सरकार के मुताबिक, अब दिल्ली सरकार के सभी विभागों में सप्ताह में 2 दिन वर्क फ्रॉम होम लागू किया जाएगा. इसके साथ ही निजी कंपनियों और संस्थानों को भी 2 दिन वर्क फ्रॉम होम अपनाने की सलाह दी जाएगी. लेबर विभाग इस व्यवस्था की निगरानी करेगा और बड़ी कंपनियों के साथ सीधे संवाद कर इसे लागू कराने की कोशिश की जाएगी.

इसके अलावा, हर सोमवार को सरकारी कर्मचारी मेट्रो से ही कार्यालय आएंगे और जाएंगे ताकि ईंधन की खपत कम हो सके. सरकार ने अगले 6 महीनों तक कोई नई गाड़ी नहीं खरीदने का भी फैसला लिया है. साथ ही सभी विभागों के खर्च में 20% तक कटौती की जाएगी.
शिक्षा और न्याय व्यवस्था में भी डिजिटल विकल्पों को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है. विश्वविद्यालयों से ऑनलाइन क्लास लेने की अपील की गई है, जबकि अदालतों से केस की ऑनलाइन सुनवाई बढ़ाने का अनुरोध किया गया है. सरकार ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि अगले 3 महीने तक कोई भी सरकारी इवेंट आयोजित नहीं होगा और मंत्री या अधिकारी किसी भी विदेशी दौरे पर नहीं जाएंगे. इसके साथ ही दिल्ली सरकार अब 100% स्वदेशी प्रोडक्ट्स के उपयोग को प्राथमिकता देगी.
मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि यह कदम केवल सरकार तक सीमित नहीं रहेगा, बल्कि जनता और प्राइवेट सेक्टर की भागीदारी से ही इसका असर दिखाई देगा. सरकार का लक्ष्य है कि इन उपायों से ईंधन की खपत कम हो और देश की विदेशी मुद्रा पर दबाव घटाया जा सके.
