Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov said that measures like the Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act are aimed at curbing India's economic and geopolitical growth.
"A top US official publicly revealed at the Raisina Dialogue that the US will never allow India to become the next China as a competitor. It was like a Freudian slip," Alipov said. "As India becomes stronger and eventually a superpower, which is inevitable, the US will do everything possible to contain India. We regard the Graham Act as such a measure," he added.

कन्नौज में लखनऊ-आगरा एक्सप्रेसवे पर एक तेज रफ्तार फॉर्च्यूनर कार अनियंत्रित होकर पलट गई, जिसमें सवार पांच लोग वाहन के अंदर फंस गए। हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही सौरिख थाने में तैनात सिपाही अमित तेवतिया और अर्चना सिंह मौके पर पहुंचे और अपनी सर्विस रायफल की मदद से कार के शीशे तोड़कर सभी लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला। सिपाही दम्पत्ति की तत्परता से सभी पांचों लोगों की जान बच गई। घटना का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है। बताया जा रहा है कि यह हादसा सौरिख थाना क्षेत्र में लखनऊ-आगरा एक्सप्रेसवे के 171वें किलोमीटर के पास हुआ.
