साल 2020 के दिल्ली दंगों के सबसे चर्चित और दर्दनाक मामलों में से एक, आईबी (IB) अधिकारी अंकित शर्मा की हत्या के मामले में कड़कड़डूमा कोर्ट ने बड़ा फैसला सुनाया है. आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) के पूर्व पार्षद ताहिर हुसैन समेत 5 आरोपियों को हत्या का दोषी करार दिया गया है. अंकित शर्मा 25 फरवरी 2020 को लापता हुए थे और अगले दिन उनका शव खजूरी खास की पुलिया (चांदबाग) के पास एक नाले से बरामद हुआ था. पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में यह दहला देने वाला सच सामने आया था कि उनके शरीर पर धारदार हथियारों के 51 निशान थे. पुलिस की चार्जशीट और तकनीकी सबूतों (सीसीटीवी फुटेज और मोबाइल लोकेशन) के आधार पर कोर्ट ने पाया कि उग्र भीड़ ने अंकित शर्मा को अगवा कर ताहिर हुसैन के घर के बाहर बेहद बेरहमी से मौत के घाट उतारा था. इस मामले में कुल 11 आरोपी थे, जिनमें से सबूतों के अभाव में 6 को बरी कर दिया गया है. फैसला सुनते ही कोर्ट रूम में ताहिर हुसैन फूट-फूट कर रोने लगा. पूरे 6 साल के लंबे इंतजार के बाद पीड़ित परिवार को इंसाफ मिला है.
