इसी तरह, एक अन्य कारोबारी कृष्णानंद के साथ भी प्रतीक का गंभीर विवाद सामने आया. आरोप है कि कृष्णानंद ने उनसे करोड़ों रुपये का निवेश लिया और रकम वापस मांगने पर उन्हें झूठे केस में फंसाने की धमकी दी. प्रतीक ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि उन्हें पोक्सो एक्ट जैसे गंभीर मामलों में फंसाने की धमकियां दी गई थीं. इस मामले में भी उन्होंने लखनऊ में FIR दर्ज कराई थी.
करीब दो महीने पहले जब अखिलेश यादव ने प्रतीक से मुलाकात की थी, तब भी वे अपने कारोबार को लेकर बेहद चिंतित और तनाव में थे. अखिलेश यादव ने उस वक्त उन्हें सलाह दी थी कि वे अपने स्वास्थ्य का ध्यान रखें और कारोबार को लेकर परेशान न हों, क्योंकि व्यापार में उतार-चढ़ाव सामान्य बात है.

महंगाई का असर पहले ही कई सेक्टरों में दिखने लगा है. सोने के दाम में भारी बढ़ोतरी हुई है और चांदी की कीमत भी तेजी से बढ़ी है. वहीं दूध और CNG जैसी जरूरी चीजों के दाम भी ऊपर जा चुके हैं. यानी महंगाई का दबाव अब हर तरफ महसूस किया जा रहा है.
इसी बीच, देश के कई हिस्सों से पेट्रोल-डीजल की रेशनिंग और पंप बंद होने की खबरें सामने आई हैं, जिससे लोगों में घबराहट बढ़ गई है. कई पेट्रोल पंपों पर ‘नो पेट्रोल-नो डीजल’ के बोर्ड लगाए गए हैं और कहीं-कहीं तय सीमा से ज्यादा ईंधन देने से मना किया जा रहा है. हालांकि सरकार की ओर से ऐसी कोई आधिकारिक गाइडलाइन जारी नहीं हुई है.
जहां कुछ पंप बंद हैं, वहीं खुले पंपों पर लंबी कतारें देखने को मिल रही हैं. लोग जरूरत से ज्यादा ईंधन भरवाकर स्टॉक करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, जिससे स्थिति और बिगड़ रही है. आम लोगों का कहना है कि उन्हें थोड़ी मात्रा में ईंधन पाने के लिए भी घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ रहा है.
इस बीच प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी ईंधन बचाने की अपील की है और खुद अपने काफिले को छोटा कर एक उदाहरण पेश किया है. हालांकि उनके इस कदम से एक नई बहस छिड़ गई है—क्या सुरक्षा के लिहाज से प्रधानमंत्री का काफिला कम होना चाहिए?
कुल मिलाकर, देश में महंगाई और ईंधन संकट को लेकर अनिश्चितता बनी हुई है. RBI की अगली मौद्रिक नीति बैठक 5 जून को होनी है, जिसमें ब्याज दरों को लेकर फैसला होगा. लेकिन उससे पहले ही बाजार और आम जनता की नजर पेट्रोल-डीजल के दामों पर टिक गई है.
