Following days of anticipation, the Centre has finally hiked retail selling prices of petrol and diesel in four metro cities. The hike effective from Friday (May 15). This is the first time retail fuel prices have been hiked in four years.
Petrol Diesel Price Hike: देश में लंबे इंतजार के बाद पेट्रोल और डीजल के दामों में बढ़ोतरी कर दी गई है. करीब दो साल के अंतराल के बाद हुई इस वृद्धि ने महंगाई को लेकर नई चिंता खड़ी कर दी है. पेट्रोल के दाम में लगभग ₹3 प्रति लीटर और डीजल में करीब ₹1 प्रति लीटर की बढ़ोतरी हुई है, जिससे आम जनता पर सीधा असर पड़ना तय है.
नई कीमतों के मुताबिक, दिल्ली में पेट्रोल अब करीब ₹97.77 प्रति लीटर और डीजल ₹90.67 प्रति लीटर के आसपास मिल रहा है. वहीं कोलकाता, मुंबई और चेन्नई जैसे मेट्रो शहरों में पेट्रोल ₹100 के पार पहुंच चुका है. कई जगहों पर ₹3 से ज्यादा की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई है.
इस बढ़ोतरी की सबसे बड़ी वजह अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कच्चे तेल की कीमतों में उछाल को बताया जा रहा है. रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, कच्चा तेल करीब $69 प्रति बैरल से बढ़कर $100+ प्रति बैरल तक पहुंच गया है. इससे तेल कंपनियों पर भारी दबाव पड़ा और उन्हें हर दिन हजारों करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान झेलना पड़ रहा था.
सरकार और पेट्रोलियम मंत्रालय पहले ही संकेत दे चुके थे कि लंबे समय तक कीमतों को स्थिर रखना संभव नहीं होगा. बताया जा रहा है कि तेल कंपनियों को प्रति लीटर पेट्रोल‑डीजल पर ₹10-15 तक का नुकसान हो रहा था. ऐसे में आंशिक राहत के तौर पर कीमतों में यह बढ़ोतरी की गई है.
इसी के साथ CNG के दामों में भी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई है. मुंबई जैसे शहरों में CNG ₹2 प्रति किलो तक महंगी हो चुकी है. इसका असर ऑटो, टैक्सी और पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट पर पड़ेगा, जिससे आने वाले दिनों में किराए बढ़ सकते हैं.
ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, आम लोगों में नाराजगी और चिंता दोनों है. टैक्सी चालकों का कहना है कि खर्च बढ़ेगा लेकिन कमाई उतनी नहीं बढ़ेगी. वहीं पेट्रोल पंप संचालकों का कहना है कि कीमतें बढ़ने का सबसे ज्यादा असर आम जनता पर ही पड़ेगा.
महंगाई का असर सिर्फ ईंधन तक सीमित नहीं रहेगा. पेट्रोल‑डीजल महंगा होने से ट्रांसपोर्टेशन लागत बढ़ेगी, जिसका असर फल‑सब्जी, दूध और अन्य जरूरी सामानों की कीमतों पर भी पड़ेगा. यानी आने वाले दिनों में महंगाई का दबाव और बढ़ सकता है.
फिलहाल सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही है कि क्या यह बढ़ोतरी यहीं थमेगी या आगे भी दाम बढ़ सकते हैं. मिडिल ईस्ट के हालात और कच्चे तेल की कीमतों पर सबकी नजर टिकी हुई है. अगर वैश्विक परिस्थितियां नहीं सुधरीं, तो आम आदमी को और महंगाई झेलनी पड़ सकती है.
