पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी को एक और राजनीतिक झटका लगा है. रेजीनगर सीट से उम्मीदवार रबीउल आलम चौधरी ने अपना नामांकन वापस ले लिया है. उनके इस फैसले के बाद क्षेत्र की राजनीतिक समीकरणों को लेकर चर्चाएं तेज हो गई हैं.
डूसू (DUSU) चुनाव के लिए वोटों की गिनती जारी है और सातवें राउंड तक की काउंटिंग पूरी हो चुकी है. शुरुआती रुझानों में एबीवीपी बढ़त बनाती हुई दिखाई दे रही है. छठे राउंड की गिनती पूरी होने तक अध्यक्ष पद पर एबीवीपी उम्मीदवार यश को बढ़त हासिल थी. अब तक यश को 8,825 वोट मिले हैं, जबकि एनएसयूआई के मीना को 8,216 वोट प्राप्त हुए हैं. ऐसे में दोनों उम्मीदवारों के बीच कांटे की टक्कर देखने को मिल रही है.
