NDTV से खास बातचीत में तुकाराम मुंढे ने कहा कि जो लोग प्रतिबंधित उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देते हैं वे उनके लिए स्टार नहीं बल्कि कानून तोड़ने वाले हैं. उन्होंने साफ कहा कि आम लोगों की सेहत से खिलवाड़ किसी भी कीमत पर बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा.FDA ने 11 अगस्त को अभिनेता शाहरुख खान, अजय देवगन और टाइगर श्रॉफ को नोटिस भेजा था. ये तीनों विमल इलायची के विज्ञापनों में नजर आते हैं. आरोप है कि इन विज्ञापनों के जरिए अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से पान मसाला का प्रचार किया जा रहा है. महाराष्ट्र में पान मसाला प्रतिबंधित उत्पादों की श्रेणी में आता है. मुंढे ने बताया कि तीन में से दो सितारों ने नोटिस का जवाब दे दिया है जबकि एक अभिनेता की ओर से अब तक कोई जवाब नहीं मिला है. हालांकि उन्होंने उस अभिनेता का नाम सार्वजनिक नहीं किया.
