पश्चिम बंगाल की नंदीग्राम विधानसभा सीट का उपचुनाव संग्राम में तब्दील होता दिख रहा है. यहां कांग्रेस के उम्मीदवार मिलन प्रधान को पुलिस ने हत्या के एक पुराने मामले में गिरफ्तार कर लिया है. इससे पहले ममता बनर्जी गुट की उम्मीदवार संचिता प्रधान डे ने चुनाव लड़ने से ही इनकार कर दिया था. उन्होंने सीएम शुभेंदु अधिकारी से मुलाकात के बाद यह फैसला लिया था. इसे बाद ममता बनर्जी ने मीडिया से बात की थी और अपनी कैंडिडेट के रेस से हटने पर भाजपा को कोसा था. इसके अलावा उनकी ओर से कांग्रेस कैंडिडेट के समर्थन का ऐलान किया गया था. अब कांग्रेस कैंडिडेट मिलन प्रधान के भी गिरफ्तार होने से राजनीति गरमा गई है.
गाजियाबाद के कवि नगर थाना क्षेत्र स्थित आरडीसी इलाके में कार पार्किंग को लेकर शुरू हुआ विवाद देखते ही देखते मारपीट में बदल गया. बताया जा रहा है कि दो पक्षों के बीच पहले कहासुनी हुई, जिसके बाद मामला इतना बढ़ गया कि सड़क पर ही लात-घूंसे चलने लगे. दोनों पक्षों के बीच जमकर हाथापाई हुई, जिससे मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई. मारपीट बढ़ने पर राहगीरों और स्थानीय लोगों ने बीच-बचाव कर दोनों पक्षों को अलग कराया. इस पूरी घटना का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है. फिलहाल पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी हुई है.

तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) के दोनों गुटों को चुनाव आयोग ने नए नाम और नए चुनाव चिह्न आवंटित कर दिए हैं. ममता बनर्जी गुट को चुनाव चिह्न के रूप में 'फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी' का निशान मिला है, जबकि इस गुट का नया नाम 'ममता ऑल इंडिया तृणमूल कांग्रेस' रखा गया है. वहीं, ऋतव्रत बनर्जी गुट को चुनाव चिह्न के तौर पर 'लिफाफा' आवंटित किया गया है. इस गुट को 'डेमोक्रेटिक तृणमूल कांग्रेस' नाम दिया गया है. अब दोनों गुट 6 अक्टूबर को होने वाले उपचुनाव में इन्हीं नए नामों और चुनाव चिह्नों के साथ मैदान में उतरेंगे. चुनाव आयोग द्वारा टीएमसी के मूल नाम और चुनाव चिह्न को फ्रीज किए जाने के बाद यह व्यवस्था लागू की गई है.

Worn by Diana on June 29, 1994, the Christina Stambolian dress became one of the most recognisable outfits in royal history, worn on the night Prince Charles publicly acknowledged his affair.
