बाबा धीरेंद्र शास्त्री के भाई शालीग्राम गर्ग पर फिर एफआईआर दर्ज हुई है. छतरपुर के कोड़ा गांव में जमीन विवाद के दौरान किसान मोतीलाल कुशवाहा पर गोली चलाने का आरोप लगा है. पीड़ित किसान का कहना है कि शालीग्राम गर्ग उस पर और इलाके के अन्य किसानों पर जमीन बेचने का दबाव बना रहे थे. मना करने पर गुंडागर्दी की जाती है. इसी विवाद में गोली चलाई गई. पुलिस के मुताबिक, इस मामले में 4 आरोपी नामजद हैं- सतीश, शालीग्राम, आशीष और एक अज्ञात. घायल किसान को जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. पुलिस का कहना है कि पुराने विवाद पर बात करने गए थे, बहस बढ़ी तो लाठी चली और गोली चलने का भी आरोप है. वीडियो में आरोपी भागते दिख रहे हैं. बागेश्वर धाम पर लाखों लोगों की आस्था है. ऐसे में बाबा के भाई पर लगे इस आरोप से कई सवाल उठ रहे हैं.

Taslima Nasrin To Return To Kolkata After 20 Years For Literary Event
Nearly two decades after she was forced to leave Kolkata amid violent protests over her writings, exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasrin is set to return to the city next month to attend an event, in a politically symbolic moment that the BJP government in West Bengal is projecting as the reversal of what it calls a long-standing capitulation to religious fundamentalism.
Nasrin shared a post on social media that she would be in Kolkata on August 1 to participate in an anti-fundamentalism literary event at Rabindra Sadan, where she is expected to recite poetry.
The event, organised by a group of secular and anti-fundamentalist organisations, has acquired significance beyond the literary sphere, coming months after the BJP assumed office in West Bengal and amid renewed political debate over freedom of expression, secularism and the state's relationship with religious sensitivities.

POK की स्कूली छात्राएं भी मैदान में उतर कर 'आजीदी' के नारे लगा रही हैं. प्रदर्शनकारियों ने 'मुजफ्फराबाद चलो' का ऐलान किया है.
