दिल्ली एनसीआर में पिछले दिनों से पड़ रही भीषण गर्मी और उमस से आखिरकार लोगों को निजात मिल गई. सुबह से रुक-रुक कर हो रही तेज और मध्यम दर्जे की बारिश ने मौसम को सुहाना बना दिया है. हालांकि, इस बारिश ने ऑफिस जाने वाले लोगों के लिए रास्ते में कई मुश्किलें भी खड़ी कर दी हैं.
सुबह करीब 8 बजे एनडीटीवी के रिपोर्टर रवीश रंजन शुक्ला गाजियाबाद से दिल्ली की तरफ निकले, तो उन्हें भारी ट्रैफिक का सामना करना पड़ा. बारिश के कारण नेशनल हाईवे-9 (NH-9) पर जगह-जगह जलभराव हो गया है. गाजीपुर बॉर्डर के पास पानी भरने और बीच सड़क पर एक ट्रक खराब होने की वजह से लंबा जाम लग गया है. उन्होंने बताया कि लाल कुआं से लेकर दिल्ली तक ट्रैफिक बेहद धीमा है. पानी ज्यादा भरा होने के कारण गाड़ियां सिर्फ एक लेन से गुजर पा रही हैं, जिसका खामियाजा नोएडा, गाजियाबाद और मेरठ से आने वाले नौकरीपेशा लोगों को भुगतना पड़ रहा है.
ट्रैफिक की समस्या सिर्फ हाईवे तक सीमित नहीं है. सराय काले खां से लाजपत नगर होते हुए सीजीओ (CGO) कॉम्प्लेक्स की ओर जाने वाले रास्ते पर भी एक तरफ भारी जाम लगा हुआ है. वहीं, लगातार बारिश की वजह से ईस्ट ऑफ कैलाश में नेशनल हार्ट इंस्टीट्यूट के बाहर एक बड़ा पेड़ गिर गया. यह घटना सुबह करीब 7:30 से 8:00 बजे के बीच हुई. पेड़ सीधे नीचे खड़ी एक मालवाहक गाड़ी पर गिरा, जिससे गाड़ी पूरी तरह डैमेज हो गई है.
राहत की बात यह रही कि उस वक्त गाड़ी के अंदर कोई मौजूद नहीं था, जिससे कोई जानमाल का नुकसान नहीं हुआ. हालांकि, इस घटना की वजह से ईस्ट ऑफ कैलाश से गढ़ी गांव की तरफ जाने वाला रास्ता पूरी तरह से बंद हो गया है.
जलभराव, गिरे हुए पेड़ और ट्रैफिक जाम के बावजूद, दिल्लीवालों के चेहरों पर उमस से राहत मिलने की खुशी साफ देखी जा सकती है. दिल्ली के मशहूर गरमा-गरम पराठे बेचने वालों का कहना है कि बारिश की वजह से आज काम थोड़ा सुस्त जरूर है, लेकिन मौसम का बदलना भी जरूरी है. एक स्थानीय व्यक्ति ने कहा, "बारिश तो होनी चाहिए, वरना फसल कैसे होगी. मौसम सारे ही अच्छे लगते हैं."
