अरुणाचल प्रदेश के लोहित जिले में लगातार हो रही भारी बारिश ने एक बार फिर तबाही मचा दी है. जिले के कई इलाकों में अचानक आई बाढ़ (फ्लैश फ्लड) से जनजीवन बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुआ है. 43 माइल और शिवाजी नगर जैसे गांव सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित बताए जा रहे हैं, जहां बाढ़ का पानी घरों में घुस गया और करीब 40 घरों को नुकसान पहुंचा है. बाढ़ के कारण सड़कें, संपर्क मार्ग और अन्य बुनियादी ढांचे भी प्रभावित हुए हैं. हालात को देखते हुए जिला प्रशासन ने राहत और बचाव अभियान तेज कर दिया है. SDRF, पुलिस और आपदा प्रबंधन की टीमें प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में तैनात हैं और लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाने का काम किया जा रहा है. वहीं, मौसम विभाग ने पहले ही क्षेत्र में भारी बारिश की चेतावनी देते हुए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया था. ग्रामीणों ने आसपास चल रहे निर्माण कार्यों को भी इस बाढ़ की एक संभावित वजह बताया है.
